Wang An Visits Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Morocco
During April 9-18, President Wang An led a delegation to visit Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
During his stay in Egypt, he was invited to visit Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, and the two sides talked with each other on strengthening services in the Egyptian market; he met with Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Song Aiguo and Minister-Counselor Han Bing, and the two sides talked with each other on carrying out relevant consultation work related to China-Egypt “Belt & Road” cooperation projects; he made a survey on the CBD construction project in the new capital of Egypt; and met with Sherif Ismail, Egypt’s former prime minister, and the two sides communicated with each other on matters related to strengthening consulting cooperation.
During his stay in Saudi Arabia, he was invited to make a field survey on the NEOM new city. He exchanged views with NEOM New City Development Company CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr on the matters related to project cooperation, and the two sides reached a consensus on signing MoUs for King Salman Bridge as well as NEOM New City energy and industrial planning.
During his stay in Morocco, he made a survey on the CITIC Dicastal (Morocco) plant construction project in Morocco’s capital Rabat; he met with CITIC Group Chairman Chang Zhenming and the two sides communicated with each other on further strengthening cooperation.
Wang An was accompanied by Vice President Dou Hao and heads of relevant departments of CIECC.
