On May 29, China International Engineering Consulting Corporation (CIECC) received a delegation of more than 20 faculty members and students from Peking University’s Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD), representing 15 countries around the world. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on China’s development philosophy, the role of consulting and evaluation in national governance, and practical experience in South-South cooperation.

Gou Husheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CIECC, and Huang Yiping, Dean of the National School of Development and the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development at Peking University, attended the event. Shen Hao, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of CIECC, presided over the discussion. Zhao Xufeng, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of CIECC, and Shen Yan, Professor at Peking University’s Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development, participated in the exchange.

Before the meeting, the ISSCAD delegation visited an exhibition of CIECC consulting project cases. Responsible officials from relevant departments of both sides also attended the above activities.
