• Research on benchmarking for a world-class management improvement index system
In accordance with President Xi’s vision, Shanghai Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. (SETD) commissioned CIECC to prepare competitiveness analysis materials for its engineering construction sector. CIECC, together with the State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC) and SETD, formed a joint working group who analyzed the development strengths and weaknesses of SETD from eight management aspects. By establishing an applicable benchmarking index system, it guided the transformation and development of SETD, so as to comprehensively improve the company’s management capability.

The research on ways for Qingdao Metro Group to take advantage of its platform and develop was conducted based on CIECC’s deep understanding of the reform requirements for SOEs. It further demonstrated the importance of making the platform of Qingdao Metro Group bigger, and provided constructive opinions on developing the Group and strengthening the metro industry in Qingdao.
